Not what I wanted.

I bought the wooden version and it is not solid wood but rather a composite wood. When it arrived, the screws in the lid had pulled loose and left the holes too large to reinstall them. Luckily I was able to use the lid from my original broken seat to repair the new one to a usable product. I would order the plastic version in the future and hope for a better outcome.

Love the seat cover - it feels solid and the finish is very durable and sleek. Feels very high quality compared to the cheap ones I'm used to. HOWEVER, we set a container of bleach on the toilet seat cover for a minute, then picked it up to find it stained YELLOW! We tried all sorts of cleaners to lift it out, but nothing worked.   Recommended as long as you understand not to put bleach on top!

It sounds silly but I bought this brand new house a year ago and could not believe that the builder installed flimsy plastic seat covers for the toilets. I was desperate to find wood toilet seats to replace. I ended up calling the manufacturer and sure enough found the seats I wanted!!! I love love love these seats especially over what I had. And at SUCH an affordable price!! Thank you so much. Barbara
