I was hoping that this would be a "rust free" brushed nickel (maybe too much to hope for?), but was disappointed that the hook is made of plastic and only the front disc is nickel.

Wanted something that didn't rust. They look very nice, and were easy to put up.

I bought these hooks to replace my old shower curtain hooks that were some type of metal and getting rust on my shower curtain. I chose these because the hook is plastic and I no longer have to worry about rust rubbing from the hook. The front of the hook has a beautiful silver finish.
