Does not hold on matte/textured shower tile. I followed the installation instructions carefully, but unfortunately the caddy eventually fell off the wall. Our shower has light gray stone-look tile with a matte, slightly textured surface, rather than smooth glossy tile. The texture apparently prevents the adhesive from getting a strong enough bond. I like the design and storage capacity, so I’m disappointed it didn’t work for our shower. If you have matte, textured, or stone-look shower tile similar to ours, I would not recommend this caddy. It would likely be better suited to smooth glazed tile or glass.
