When I opened the box, some of the components seemed high quality and substantial. Definitely made Of brass, as Specified. Other components carried different (Italian?) brand name And did not seem as substantial. UPDATE: after just 4 years of VERY LIGHT usage (guest bathroom of summer cottage) the mixing valve failed. I called the company direct and they are SHIPPING ME A REPLACEMENT AT NO CHARGE! Very very impressed.

Terrific shower system, looks great and works very well. I initially thought it was a bit pricey, but I wanted everything in one box which is not easy to find. All showers should be sold this way, rather than chasing around trying to find 3 or 4 separate components.
