This was used on a Dutch door. Kept the top and bottom together when we wanted the door closed. Worked great

These look beautiful and work amazingly well on the french door windows in my dining room, which is at the front of the house. My home is an old 1920's. The window hardware is original. So, when it is windy the windows blow wide open. Which is a safety concern. These bolts did the trick. Highly recommend.
