Easy to thread and the auto tension works fantastic at all speeds and with different threads and fabrics. Highly recommend for the novice to the professional user. A treasure of features waiting to be discovered.

My husband bought me this machine for 46th wedding anniversary. I absolutely love it. It’s gonna be a little hard to learn, but I will learn it.

I bought this machine in 2011. The manual that came with it needs improvement the instructions are not complete and the illustrations are confusing and missing steps. That being said once I learned the machine love it. Still going great though it's time to have it serviced

I purchased this machine in September 2023. I am fully self taught on sewing. I purchased the 5 thread machine because I thought down the road I may need to use 5 threads. I received the machine in September 2023 & didn’t take it out of the box till November. Once you understand how to thread the machine it’s simple. Singer has taken the guess work out of the tension settings. This machine saves hours of sewing with the single needle machine. This serger has made me a better sewing person & has boosted my confidence. I also own the Singer HD 6800C the two make a great pair. I also didn’t get the free feet as a perk but, did get a bonus Iron. Do not be intimidated by this unit. It is simple
