Smart recirculation system stopped working three months after installation

I like the small foot print of the product and not having the risk of a gas furnance. better for environment, quiet. BUT....I do not like some of the learning features as it can take a long time to activate the heating in certain rooms if we have not used it or have been out for a few days. Seems to take a long time to wake up. Have to turn on cold water then back to hot to kick start it. Can take up to 10 minutes to get hot water.

I'be had a tankless heater for 10 years...generally good product with great support. I recently had to replace the control box. The old box had manual controls, new box had wireless controls from an app. It would have been nice if the new one offered app control as a choice, as I liked the manual control.

The heater (RXP199iN) works great! I wish it came with the Wi-Fi module (RWN200) but had to buy it separately. The software is very basic, once the Wi-Fi module was installed none of the operations worked. I had to call CS who had me restart the heater after which the recirculate feature could be triggered from the app. The heater came with a pass thru valve which also works as expected. I've had the heater for 6 months and had no issues. It dealt with CO winters like a champ. We are only 3 people in our house. What I like best about my setup is before a shower I turn the recirculate option on, which draws the cold water replacing it with hot water so I'm not wasting all that water waiting for the shower to heat up. I also love the cost savings of not having to constantly keep 50 gallons heated. I went through 2 storage heaters in 6 years as the inside of both corroded, leaked and failed.
