It's compact and quiet. The only down side is the volume per pump cycle is small, so it cycles frequently.

I have seen so many ugly, disgusting and noisy condensate pumps that it never occurred to me that their was anything better out there. This Sanicondens pump is a breakthrough on those pumps in every way. Nifty Design, easy to clean and whisper quiet. If you have a high efficiency furnace, get one of these and protect your investments: no more puddles. Oh, and you can even hang it on a wall if your furnace outlet tubing isn't too low. Make sure to put the AC condensate running trap before the drop. If you put the trap near the floor, you are just asking for mold/algae build-up that can wreck the pump motor. If I could, I'd give this Sanicondens 6 stars.I think it has a long life ahead of it.
