Update to my original review. I was prepping the plumbing to get the exact location I wanted to mount this valve and the instructions say in step 2, press the panel to the wall after removing the protective cover. Well not that easy after all because of the rubber seal on the inside of the square hole the valve control is supposed to go thru and which has a plastic protective cover. The seal is too tight and comes off the panel as you try to press it thru and it ended up scratching the part that was specifically shipped with a protective cover. I was do this on the table before I actually installed it in the bathroom. I don't see how you can just push the panel without either popping the seal out or scratching the hardware. I purchased the tub faucet in matte black to match the rest of the bathroom fixtures. Sharp looking seems easy to mount. I love that the flat water spigot asks as a shelf for any accessories and the spray handle makes rinsing easy.
