More hand grip possibilities because wall mount is not at the end of the bar but set back a little. This advantage becomes very obvious in use. Yes and it looks high quality too.

Well made and sturdy this grab bar is a nice alternative to the institutional-looking grab bars. The unique L-shaped style can be mounted left or right facing. The price point was a plus compared to other brands. The bar is exactly as pictured. Pros: Design and construction. Ease of installation. Chrome finish. Cons: None
