This is a gorgeous faucet. Extremely high quality and heavy. Very well made. All parts are single wrapped and fitted in the box so Nothing can be scratched. All this was wrapped again in bubble wrap and shipped in a larger box.
We got this to replace a broken bathroom sink faucet which was initially thought to be a single hole. As soon as we begin to dismantle the old faucet we realized the sink had 3 holes. That was a mistake on our part. Because of that, I had to order a larger deck plate online and wait a few days for the installation. Everything you need is included. It still looks lovely with the larger deck plate but I wish we wouldn’t have had to use it. So please note that the deck plate in our photo was not included. We had to buy that separately.
Most of the time was spent taking out the old and prepping for the new. We went the added step and replaced the tailpiece. The old one could have worked as the design of the Speakman faucet is traditional and the construction is solid but figured it was better to just go ahead and replace it.
Installation was straight forward and went easily. No problems at all and the instructions are very well written. We did remove the aerator, tool provided, then flushed the faucet. This is recommended in the instructions but shows the aerator being uninstalled, it was actually already installed. Once completed everything works well, it looks very good,and we are very pleased and impressed with the quality of this faucet.
