I required the small bowl on the left to align the tap with the space between my windows behind the sink.As there are less options available for this configuration I had to spend more for this sink than I had planned. Only to find that our contractor installed the sink backwards. It has since been reinstalled and looks great. The stainless steel does seem to easily scratch but I do like the small bowl with a garburator. If you are buying a sink without the tap holes, it can be installed in either directions!
