We ordered this lever with the screws on the side as pictured and we received the lever with the screws up and down. Took it to several hardware stores that said plate could not be turned

I was unable to find matching door levers for my French doors. But sure enough, Wayfair had the ones I needed. These were easy to install and they look and function great. Our old knobs were very cheap and had not locked properly for years. Our house is much more secure now!
