Purchased a home that had this undermount sink installed in black, with an Absolute Black granite countertop. I’m an architect but had never seen any of the Swan granite sinks before. It was 7 years old when we purchased the house 5 years ago. This is the best kitchen sink I’ve seen or used. It flawlessly takes a beating & stands up to everything we seem to give it. It has a matte finish that, with it being black, shows no marks from cookware. No need to polish out water spots. Large single bowl sink that accommodates big pans & serving trays. The raised portion allows for separating items within the bowl without sacrificing overall bowl capacity. Stainless steel sinks can easily be marred by scratching. Porcelain enameled cast iron needs to be babied as it can easily get marks from cookware & be permanently be scratched thru the glaze. In black, this Swan sink a winner from my perspective.
