I haven’t used it much. I think I need to sharpen it. Installation was easy. The way it came and with my strength I don’t think it’s going to split much wood. Maybe if the wood was really dry and maybe smaller it would work.

It was very well constructed with cast iron. My biggest complaint was that it didn't come with any instruction on type or lengths of wood to use. Or the proper height to mount it. It didn't come with a padded handle. or sharpened blade like was advertised in description. Excessive force is required to safely use it.
