Assembly was not required. Just installation. The depth is not changeable. It attached into the wall with two screws. Looks gorgeous, clean and solid. Currently holding just one oversized towel for the 24” bar. Going to buy a second one to hang another towel.

Easy to install. The item was missing it’s hardware to but we managed. We’re replacing one of the bathrooms fixtures from silver to gold. This item is sturdy and the quality is great. Our next product will be looking for handles.
