I'm going to use these in a spare bedroom for guests to hang their toiletries bag from. Not everyone has room for extra hooks in a bathroom so they can store theirs in the bedroom before going in. They are a solid heavy metal that look like pewter not chrome or brushed silver. Installation is simple just mark the wall and insert your anchors and then drill in the screws and attach second part and tighten with small Allen wrench. I would put the small hole to tighten to the bottom so it isn't seen and keep it on hand because these types of hooks tend to loosen with time.

I’m quite happy with these robe hooks. I chose to put ours on the back of two bedroom doors. They’re quite substantial and the color is consistent. I think the shape and style go well with our door hardware. My husband mounted the hooks easily. They have a bracket that you mount first, place the hook over top of, then secure in place with a small Allen-wrench which came with the hooks.
