Absolutely great now we both can take a shower without the fear of falling. Makes a big difference wonderful.

Even doing it in a rush, my mother's caregiver and the occupational therapist quickly put this together. Even though our shower is a walk-in intended to be accessible, the chair is a little awkward to use there, but it is usable. The caregiver also found it perfect for assisting my mother to use the toilet. By removing the seat cut-out, she could place my mother on the seat and slide her over the toilet, rather trying to get her to grab onto a commode. It have more room to maneuver for the toilet that is in a corner. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this has good features, was easy to assemble, and the price was a bargain! (It was $86.99 when I bought it, at the low end of prices for the items I compared. The removable seat cut-out sold it, and is a useful feature.)

It worked well. My husband can't walk too well, but now that we have this tub transfer seat, we can use the tub, which was too deep to get into before. Now, I can wash him each morning more thoroughly than with just a sponge bath. I like that I could remove the middle part of the seat for more comfort for him.

The transfer system worked beautifully. My husband recently had surgery and is still not back on his feet. We were able to get him onto the chair which slides into the bathtub. Using the hand-held showerhead, he was able to enjoy his first shower in a while.
