Each beam measures 46.5” x 3” x 7.0” with a 0.04" (1mm) layer of dense polyester fiberboard that achieves an NRC rating between 0.70 and 1.00 depending on spacing. Position baffles 6" apart for peak NRC 1.00 performance, or spread them 12" or more apart for a balanced NRC 0.70. The walnut wood grain print delivers the warm visual texture of natural wood without the acoustic drawback, since real wood reflects sound rather than absorbing it. The result is decorative sound absorbing panels that look intentional and performs just as well out of sight, cutting background noise, taming reverberation, and improving speech clarity across open offices, conference rooms, lobbies, restaurants, schools, and lounges. Installation is straightforward: each beam weighs just 3.8 lbs and hangs from stainless steel cables that extend up to 6'6", compatible with wood joist or concrete/brick ceilings on both flat and pitched surfaces.
