Modern vanity. Wish a backsplash option was sold separately

Our vanity came today. We opened the top to see a large red stain across the quartz. It’s a bit amazing that inspection didn’t see this. Also, the box looked ripped apart and taped back together. I’m not sure if there was further damage or if the drawers shut or not. We obviously dont want stained quartz so we didn’t bother opening the rest of it. I chatted with wayfair who said the manufacturer will get back me in 1-2 days with suggestions. Our plumber is here Thursday. I’d look at something else.
