This towel warmer has a nice gold finish and it's a decent size, which we were happy with that. However, it gets super-hot like untouchable. My husband hard wired it just to see before it would go up the wall within minutes it was extremely hot. Unfortunately, we won't be installing it. We feel it's dangerously unsafe to have it on so hot. Theres only a On and Off button (better to have with a timer and temp setting). Accidently anyone can burn themselves even just by placing a towel on it. We ordered this towel warmer from a reputable brand because we knew they do other radiant heat systems such as floor mats, infrared heat and other radiant heat applications. Not sure if all the electric towel warmers are similar and this is how they supposed to be, maybe others won't find this problematic. I want to like this :) but it's just but unsafe.

Beautiful for my bathroom. It is a mat gold that perfectly matches all the gold faucets, hardware, mirrors in my bathroom, as well as my black door knobs and hinges. This would be something to add to your new build home as it requires electricity. The auto off is very important to me. I will use this for my towels, clothes, and baby towel. This is high-end, heavy, and quality material. It was packed well and delivered on time. Buy it and have the luxury of warm towels at your fingertips and add class to your bathroom. Splurge!!
