I was disappointed to discover that the description of this door failed to state that a mahogany veneer was used on top of solid wood to create the appearance of a solid mahogany door. Technically, the door is made of all wood but I would have preferred a solid mahogany door instead of a veneered mahogany door. The door I received required a fair amount of sanding before the finish could be applied but once finished, looked beautiful. It's been installed for a full year and has held up without any issues. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

This door is gorgeous. I just moved my mom earlier this year to be closer to me. The house we purchased for her had a door with a waist high window - and I knew she wouldn't like it. I just don't like the look and feel of a metal door. This door was a GREAT price - and is beautiful. We ended up painting the door - but it would have been beautiful stained as well.
