Packing and delivery was great, pieces look well made, but the 12 +2 JCBCW Screws are too large for ALL of the holes, and it cannot be assembled. Very disappointed since this was the last piece to be added to my new bedroom arrangement. Not sure what to do, can correct screws be sent? Other than that, I was impressed with the quality. After discussing with my carpenter, I was able to assemble with no problems after lubricating each screw before use. Turned out perfect!!

I love the step stool and use it as a seat. However, it does tip easily if f you’re not careful to center your feet when climbing.

Yes, the screws are a bit tight but if you have your own allen wrench with a longer handle (or create a longer handle on the allen wrench that is provided), there is not an issue to tighten the screws into the wood. I would much the screws be tight rather than loose as I will be standing on this! Once put together, it is a very well-made step stool that I also use for a sitting bench in the kitchen bar area.

It looks good and seems well made. It was easy to put together. My kitchen cabinets go to the 9’ ceiling so even being 6’4” tall I still need this step stool. It is narrow (for ease of storage) but not rickety.

This is exactly what we were looking for. It is solid wood and has a beautiful finish. It’s very sturdy. I would have given it 5 stars, but the treads on the “steps” wobble just a little. It really isn’t very noticeable and doesn’t affect the function. Overall, it is a very attractive and useful piece.
