So far, I'm loving this unit. I honestly need to read the manual again to better understand how to operate it. I think I will enjoy it more. I like that it has a lock but I don't lock the unit because I don't have small kids in my home. I did find the lid is a little hard to remove. The digital display is easy to read even without my glasses. The outside of the unit doesn't get extremely warm or hot so that a plus for sure. I would suggest that anything you put in the unit you give it significant time to warm all the way through. Don't leave the item folded or pressed down as it won't warm completely. Overall, I think this is a good price for a good unit. I don't recall seeing reviews on longevity of the unit so I'm hoping it last for a good while. I've only had mine about a week. Good luck.
