The supplied gasket which goes between the bathtub drain shoe and the bottom of the tub is too small in diameter to accommodate the coarse thread adapter that comes with the drain assembly. Now I have to go to the hardware store and buy the correct size gasket. The included gasket should work for both sizes. A standard tub drain removal/installer tool also doesn't work with this drain. Very disappointed and may return.

I bought a stand alone tub from way-un-fair. I called the order in to a salesman. I asked for a gold drain kit for use with the tub. A stand alone tub has a different drain maybe their salesman didn’t know about. Got ready to install the tub and the plumber say the drain sent would not work. The plumber went to the supply house to get the right one while I called Way-un-fair to get refunded for the drain. Maybe 40-50. The rep tells me I was out of my 30 days and could no longer get a refund. I explained that his salesman sent the wrong part. Doesn’t matter, you are outside the 30 day return. When you are remodeling homes you have to order all supplies before a contractor will show up. I was out of the 30 days but will never trade here again. Glad I found out how they do business on a 50 drain kit instead of a 50,000 remodel.
