Lock as operated as hoped, smooth, easy install, good value. I would repeat the same decision based on the information I have a month into the experience

You don't need to know anything or be handy. It's super easy to install.

Didn’t work unfortunately, would like a refund or maybe this one is defected.

Doesn't come with the backset to install in a metal door, there is nothing on the outside of the box to specify that there needs to be a recessed pocket in the door for the backset to fit. Will have to return and shop for a different lock.
