I was searching through tons of these Infrared Cabinet-style heaters and settled on this one for 2 main reasons. 1. In the event of a power outage, this unit will automatically turn back on to its last heat heating. That means I can set it up to a timer and have it come on at the desired time ( although having that feature built-in one of been nice) and 2. Every single part is available for purchase through their site heat4less for REASONABLE prices. For most of these heaters, you'll have a hard time finding the parts.
List of pros:
- Has an indicator light for a burnt-out coil
- Shuts off automatically when the desired temperature is reached
- Lightweight. It's like a light plastic. But not in a way it feels cheap.
-Very simple, right to the point setup with the buttons and display.
-Puts out a great deal of heat. I was using this as the main heating source for an older nova scotia ---home with pretty poor insulation and it manages to keep the downstairs above 60 at all times by itself. If it's above 0 it can keep at above 65 - 70. I'd be thrilled to see how well it would perform in a modernly insulated home.
Doesn't seem to drink a massive amount of power.
Cons:
Price, it's the most expensive one but it's a scenario where you pay for what you get.. Anonymous. . 2022-04-21 02:24:29
