I think the item is well built and looks good. My problem is that I purchased it for a 60" table and although it holds the table up, the table is not really sturdy, it rock a bit when people lean on it. I am very disappointed and upset with myself for not sending it back right away. I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway, I now need to purchase a new base for the table as I can't stand the rocking.
