I chose this to use as a partial privacy screen along our fence line and block secondhand smoke drifting in from a neighboring yard. They deliver on that front. The trellis panels and arbor tops create real height and coverage right at the fence line, and the planter boxes give me a home for bamboo that will fill in the gaps over time. Assembly took some patience but wasn't difficult. The lattice is joined with twine wraps rather than hardware, which gives it a nice rustic look, though I'd have preferred a cleaner finish on the tied ends and tying them together destroys your fingers trying to get it tight enough. Build quality feels sturdy for the price. The planter boxes have drainage holes already drilled and the wood has a nice cedar-toned finish that should hold up outdoors. The arbor top adds a finished, architectural look rather than a flat screen, which I liked. Only real critique: the twine joints, while charming, aren't going to be as durable long-term as a screwed or bracketed lattice. I'll be watching those over the next year or two to see how they hold up to weather. Overall, great for anyone wanting height, planting capacity, and privacy in one piece. Would buy again.. B.c.. UT. These are really nice metal planters. They come in a few colors and I got brown. Each section was shrunk wrapped and they supplied all hardware, screwdriver and gloves to protect your hands. It came with a rubber piece to go around the top to keep one’s hands from getting cut on the metal. There are 6 sections per planter and they were super easy to put together. I love how they look. I put hardware cloth under them to keep the critters from eating the plants as we live in the mountains and the voles eat everything they can get to.
