We selected this rug for a foyer area which is also in a casual dining space. The texture of the rug is very soft and comfortable ( as opposed to stiff ). The pattern design is soft and subtle.

The rug looks and feels cheaply made. The borders of the rug were uneven with hanging threads, and there was a printing mistake in the middle of my rug, resulting in a fuchsia splotch the size of a dime.
