Similar to what another reviewer said, this rug is much lighter than the picture depicts - and has a darker teal edging around it. I also decided to keep the rug. It is very soft underfoot. If you rub your foot against it, the pile goes from lighter to darker (and vice versa).

This rug is ok—not great. It is thinner than I anticipated and the color is more of a green and brown rather than a teal. Unfortunately I will be returning it.
