Tapis rayé bleu / gris Matsumura

I ordered and received this rug in February 2025. I immediately noticed a 2 foot x 2 foot area on this rug that was a different shade from the rest of the rug. I ignored it as I thought it was just part of the design, but it’s a manufacturing flaw. It is now October 2025 and I have grown to hate this rug. It holds onto dirt, and it appears very dingy in those places. I have used my Bissell Portable carpet cleaner on 3 large areas of the rug on 3 different ocassions. This machine cleans everything… except for this rug. The surface of the rug is also starting to pill. For at least 4 months, I’ve suspected that Wayfair sent me a returned used rug. That is how bad this rug looks now. I completely regret buying this rug. I did not contact Wayfair early on because the degradation of this rug occurred over months. I am attaching one pic of the area on the rug that is a different shade from the rest of the rug.

Love the rug. It’s not very thick, but it’s soft

The quality of the this rug is fantastic. Fair price and excellent quality. The feel was lovely and thick.
