I was extremely pleased with these storage containers! I bought them in a pinch after impulsively purchasing four 25lb bags of different types of fresh milled flours. When I received the flours, I panicked when I saw on the bags that they needed to be kept refrigerated (or stored in freezer). Thankfully, I have a deep freezer that would allow for appropriate storage; however, I was at wits end on how to store them in a manner that I could also use it easily. I was looking for material other than plastic, since microplastics are so damaging. With glass not an ideal material for large freezer storage, I was in hunt of a stainless option. Thankfully, I found these beauties! They four fit perfectly along the bottom of the deep freezer without interfering at all with the 2 levels of freezer baskets above them. I was also pleasantly surprised that 98% of the 25lb bags fit perfectly in one container. I somehow thought it would be way less (my math/metric conversion skills are lacking;-). Anyway, I’m absolutely thrilled & when & if the time comes I no longer need these for flour, they will easily store water in case of an emergency. Btw, be sure to clean them out prior to use.
