My grandson has had an operation on one leg and hasn't been able to get around too much the last few weeks. He's due for another one next month. He wants to watch television, and use his computer with the tv as the monitor so he can see without being at his desk. This tv stand is mobile, so it can be used different places around his room. The base is beautiful glass, and it will accommodate his 50" screen. It was perfect for what we needed it for. I had thought the screen could be adjusted to be higher, but it does go up to 55". The cord can be hidden behind the stand, and there is a nice shelf to put his controllers. Another nice feature is that is swivels the televisions to make it more comfortable to adjust.

This was exactly what we needed for my daughter's room. She doesn't have room to put a credenza or media table and we didn't want to hang a TV mount. This is sturdy, easy to put together and move as needed. Happy.

I love this stand! Assembly took about 40 minutes only because I am no handyman. Perfect fit for my bedroom! Highly recommend!!
