This cream - made specifically for the John Boos block - goes on smoothly and easily and does an OUTSTANDING job of locking in moisture and providing a clean surface to enhance the cutting and chopping experience. It has to be applied only once a month, thereby making maintenance a breeze. I cannot imagine owning my John Boos cherry end-grain block without having the benefit of this cream. Highly recommended.
