The image makes the rug look deeply contrasted with various shades of blues and greys. Unfortunately, it's more faded than that. There are no deep blues or darker greys - it's merely various shades of periwinkle. Pretty, but not the striking, rich colors that are depicted. Also, the material is quite soft, which was a surprise since I was expecting a more traditional "wool rug" feel.
