Tapis bleu foncé

This is for the Braen Power Loom Dark Blue Rug by 17 Stories. It should apply also to this whole line of rugs that they have on Wayfair, including Caramont, Brayman, and Carennac. This is not a “real” rug, IMO, as it does not have individual colored yarn coming through a background. It is white furry fabric that has been PRI NTED with the design. The fabric is printed, then mounted on a heavy canvas backing with some type of foam layer in between. If you spread the fibers apart you can see the roots of the fibers and the background is white. The fabric is like the super-soft furry stuff they make throws and comforters from. It appears very delicate, if it got snagged or heavy traffic or pets claws walking on it, it’s going to fall apart. The colors look VERY different depending on which direction the fibers are brushed. I know some of this is normal but this is extreme. If you look at it from the left, and all the fibers are aligned, the colors are pretty and it basically looks like the picture. But the printing is only on one side of the furry fibers and from the right the colors are really pale and it looks pink. You can tell this was a smaller image that got enlarged causing the image to be very blurry making it look super cheap. 7 x 10 rug actual measurement is 7’ x 9’6”. It was packed fine and unrolled flat with no wrinkles or creases. They want $77 for return shipping. Sorry I couldn't take pictures --- update: I got a lovely email from Wayfair promising to make it up to me. If you want to make it up refund my $77 shipping. My camera wasn't working and I couldn't take pictures.
