The quality of the rug is great . . But the colors specially the deep black that are showed on wayfair web site are not true to wayfair’s picture example .optical effect caused by changes in the direction of the pile lay made visibleby the different way light is reflected off the carpet surface. When you look at the carpet from one angle, these areas will appear to be lighter than the rest of the carpet, viewed from the other side, these areas appear darker.but the darker is not really a deep black is more of a charcoal grey .

So soft underfoot... More gray than I thought but still beautiful
