I am very happy with this rug. I am using it at the back door. I have a nice wool/silk rug at our front door that has held up very well so I am assuming this one will do the same or better as it doesn't have the silk. I haven't gotten the under pad yet, which I will as I want to protect our hard wood floors, but I do not slip around on it with just its own backing. Pros: I think this is going to hold up well
