This snow/ ice melting mat is wonderful. It is a game changer for removing ice from my deck, porch and walkway. Salt will destroy these surfaces, so this mat is a fabulous alternative. I would recommend it.

Honestly I was pretty skeptical if this would work or not and it has definitely beat my expectations. It comes with a timer which makes it super easy to decide if you want it to turn on every other hour or whatever you want. Can confirm it melts about 2 inch’s of solid ice per hour. Would definitely buy again or more. Good construction and should last a while.

Purchased for my patio door so my little dog has a place to warm her toes & get the snow off when she is coming back in the house. Plus the ice builds up & I have slipped there on several occassions. So far it seems to be melting the snow/ice well. Living in a place that snows almost daily this is real nice investment. Have not tinkered with timer yet but will look into it. I have stepped on it barefooted when it was minus 5 out & my foot was actually warm. Hopefully can purchase a bigger mat in future.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this snow melting mat. The instructions didn't say if the green stripes go up or down. Plus it says do not get the cords wet yet this is supposed to be exposed to water and snow. I also wonder can I use an extension cord with this. I emailed the company because no one answered the phone for my questions.

This is an ideal purchase for winter in Ohio. We use it on our back porch for our dogs. It has kept the stoop snow and ice free. It has good traction on it so it prevents slipping. It has a timer to set for specific times a day but we are keeping it in 247 right now. I am considering purchasing another one for the front porch along with the attachments for a longer path.
