Nice soft rug. Great accent to any room. Being washable makes this easy to maintain. Its available in many sizes, too.

When I first received this rug, the only pattern that was showing in the package was little flowers. I had to double-check what I ordered, and there were, indeed, little flowers on the inside of the design. However, the description calls it medallion, and I would agree with that description. The neutral colors of beige, tan, and gray make this a rug that would basically go with any decor. I replaced a dark rug with this rug, and I really like that it brightened up the room. It has a very short pile, and the rug feels very soft under your feet. There is a rubber backing that grips the floor, so that helps prevent tripping or slipping on the rug. That rubber backing has a terrible chemical smell to it, but I didnt seem to notice it as bad when it was on the floor.

I purchased the Astoria Grand Vintage Distressed Medallion Runner to our kitchen, the 2' x 8', which fits the narrow walkway perfectly. The design provides an elegant, traditional feel that blends seamlessly with our decor without being overpowering. The rug feels like silk under our feet! There is a surprising, slight bouncy cushion to the material that makes standing in the kitchen much more comfortable during daily tasks. The comfort feature attracts our cats whom we find curled up on it for their afternoon naps, which is the ultimate endorsement for comfort. The non-slip backing is another standout feature, keeping the runner securely in place even in a high-traffic area. It’s rare to find a rug that combines such a sophisticated, high-end look with the practicality of being machine washable and pet-friendly. If you are looking for a piece that offers a luxurious feel and a versatile style for a busy home, we highly recommend this runner. It is a beautiful, functional addition that brings a touch of classic charm to the room.

Fabulously soft rug completing the room perfectly. The ivory, taupe and grey complement each other perfectly. Highly recommend.

Soft and looks amazing with our furniture.
