Very nice rug. Beautiful color and pattern. Just unroll and roll backwards for a few minutes and it will lay flat.

This was listed as an indoor/outdoor rug, but I think it is more appropriate for outdoor use as it is pretty stiff and not very soft. It was very wrinkled due to the packaging and needs a rug pad/carpet tape to keep it in place on hardwood floors It is a great looking rug, however, especially considering the low price. We are using this as a runner in the hallway off of our entryway, so we can tolerate the stiffness for now.

No wear even after a year by front door

no--i have not yet used a garden hose to wash away unwanted tidbits of the arizona desert that are left behind in the weave of this rug, but i look forward to doing so. the look has the elegance of a traditional oriental pattern combined with the modernity of a jute or sisal like fiber and the result is--summer, summer, summer--just in from the pool, wet bare feet on a rug that looks and functions just as well indoors as out (indoors it needs a non-slip underpad if used on smooth or slick surfaces, tile or wood). this one's a keeper and i've already ordered more. update-- i now own more than 20 of these beautiful rugs and have hosed them many times. they have suffered the spills and scuffs of everyday life from people and dogs, yet, show no signs of wear. for a dry spill or general dirt a light vacuuming takes it right up (do not use brush settings, it can damage the surface which is woven not tufted). for wet spills, take it outside, run the hose on it, and bring it in when it's dry ( my experience is that they dry very fast, maybe a little faster here in arizona). the outdoor ones get hosed on the spot if they need it, which they rarely do. they have been through dust storms, occasional rain and the relentless arizona sun and look as bright and fresh as they did when they were new. once again, i plan to buy a few more.
