Arrived quickly wrapped in thick plastic and securely covered. It’s like how you would get it in the store on a long bolt and taped securely. But then this had heavy duty plastic that needs to be cut off can’t be torn or stretched needs to be cut. The rug its self is with natural fibers some of them appear to be like little slice of wood - it looks like jute. It is still soft and comfortable to walk on. Really like the colors and craftsmanship is quite good. I feel like the pictures are true to the actual item. Doesn’t have any odor or smell to it overall very nice and would recommend- lays flat pretty quickly

The Simplon Handmade Area Rug by August Grove is absolutely beautiful -It is soft and comfortable on bare feet and my dog Riley loves it already. It blends in nicely with my decor. I like the mix of colors throughout.

This arrived very quickly, was packaged very well . Upon opening the wrapping ,I did notice a smell to the rug. I think its due to the material.. After 24 hours there was only a slight odor.. The colors are just like the site photos. Colors are very Neutral. Beige,black,white grey ,some goldish brown tones.. The material is not soft but it still feels good to walk on.. The material is more of a jute like material so naturally its going to be stiffer . Its a very well made rug. The stitching is very strong great quality.. I would recommend a rug pad to keep from sliding around . I love the area rug I got the 8x10 its perfect for my space .. I definitely recommend it..Thank you Wayfair
