Tapis naturel / noir tressé à la main Pietro

This item is better than I expected. It’s supple and lays flat and a definite improvement to my narrow office space. 5 stars!

Very nice it goes very well with the decor!

I love the rug, but not the 3” hole that it arrived with. I’m always confident when I see August Grove. Normally, it represents quality- I’ve purchased so many items from beds to Knick knacks by this company. This is the first fail. The rug is exceptionally soft and feels like it’s literally stretching at the fibers when I lift it. It’s just not a solid strong jute or a tight enough braid. I have jute and I sew-I’ll try to do a fix that will help hold the rug together. If that’s a fail I wasted 88. And my time. I’m having black distressed porcelain plank floor installed in my laundry room where this rug will hopefully see many years of use. It’s beautiful, just flimsy. UPDATE the rug degraded like piles of sand every time I swept under it. June 2022 thrown away. Unbelievable, Don’t buy it.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted to finish the room.

Really like the color and pattern which I think goes well in my breakfast nook. However, the rug does have some fibers poking out over the rug but this does not compromise the integrity of the rug. It is not coming apart and I am just trimming the pulled out fibers as they appear. I am not returning the rug as I know these loose fibers are a characteristic of jute rugs.
