On wood floors it moves around quite a bit so you definitely need a rug pad, it’s a bit more shaggy than I expected but overall fits our space nicely.

Got this rug for my son’s room. Honestly the smell was awful. Tonight is the second night I am not having him sleep in his room due to the smell. I have had to open all the windows in his room during the winter just to air out the smell. If you’re buying this and it’s winter, keep in mind you won’t be able to leave it outside to air out. I do love the pattern and the color. I got a thick rug pad to account for how thin it is and it being in a child’s room. Overall I will like it in the room but the smell really was disappointing and concerning.
