Updating my review from 5 stars to 1! I absolutely love this rug however there’s a mustymoldy smell that does NOT go away. I put the first rug next to a very strong air purifier for 2 weeks and the smell absolutely hit me in the face every-time I walked into my kids room. Customer service sent me a label to return it and sent me a replacement rug - annoying but ok, figured it was a fluke getting a super smelly rug. Well lo and behold the 2nd rug came out of the package smelling the same way, ugh. I still wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt so I gave it another 2 weeks next to the air purifier. Same thing - the mustymoldy smell was overwhelming. Side note - we just completed a mold remediation so we absolutely CANNOT have any type of moldy items in our house. I have also bought 3 other wool rugs recently and none of them have this issue. Very disappointing and annoying to have to roll this giant rug back up and send it back for a 2nd time.

I immediately fell in love with this rug when I saw it in the store - and I usually take forever to make a decision. It looks beautiful. It feels beautiful. But nothing prepared me for the amount of shedding. It sheds every day under our feet, under the coffee table and I don't mean a little bit. I was hoping it would improve after a few months, but it hasn't. And the worst part is, it wasn't cheap. This was the first time I "splurged" on a rug more than a couple of hundred dollars. Maybe this is life with a wool rug, but I won't buy another.

We love the look of this rug, but it sheds a ton!
