I could not flatten it. tried steam and weights. It remains a trip hazard. I don't want to put a $200 rug outside but I can't keep it in my kitchen with the edges furled.

The design of this rug goes great in my son's nautical themed bedroom. I do wish it were a little softer, but that's my own fault for not reading carefully enough that it's an indoor/outdoor rug.
