You know those throws that are so soft you just have to have one to cuddle with? Well, this rug is just like one of those throws. A Bunny fir soft blanket with another blanket that has some grip pads on it. Kinda like the slippers they give you at the hospital. I put the rug down and ran my hand across the pile, and realized that the pattern was sprayed on, and by moving the pile, the pattern is distorted. For the almost $400 price, I didn't think this 8' round rug was worth it. And how many washes will it take before the painted-on pattern fades? No thanks. Returned it the same day I got it. Got better quality with a different rug.
