This rug is absolutely soft and snuggly. Not only is the fluffy area supple, but the area under the fluff is also velvety and spongy. The pattern camouflages dirt very well, but I washed mine just to see how it behaved. The directions suggested hand washing, but it was too big for that, so I used the gentle cycle on the washing machine with a detergent for delicates. I expected it to come out matted and tangled, but instead, it didn't need anything other than a few shakes. I did not place it in the dryer. At first, I thought I had ruined the rug because it didn't seem as soft. I re-read the description that said the rug might be a little thinner after washing but would recover in a couple of days. And that's exactly what happened. The rug looked like new the next day. My animals will not stay off of it, so I'm glad it washes well!

Wow this Modern Abstract Shaggy Carpet with it’s non slip backing is the best rug I purchased so far. It is very easy to manage it’s not a stiff rug which of them are. The shag isn’t very high so it doesn’t look like it is flat when you walk on it. The marbleized colors which are black, white, gray and a little gold makes it’s classy not cheesy. As you can see my dog couldn’t wait to lay on it. He loves it. This is great for the price it’s worth every penny. I recommend this rug most definitely.

this rug was described more plush and as a higher end carpet. Well this is a cheap fuzzy rug with the discount store supposed to be non slip backing that you find on the thrift store bathroom rugs. The color is more grey than green so I thought was not going to match but once altogether the colors all blend In well and now the grey looks green. I am not at all satisfied with this. I would have spent more time finding a better rug.

This is a beautiful rug! The colors are vibrant, and my chosen size fits my room perfectly! The quality is good, and the carpet seems very durable. I am going to use this in my daughter's room, and with the thick pile, she will like playing and lying on the soft rug.

This has got to be the thinnest rug I have ever seen. I would consider it a disposable rug. Gets dirty then bin it. I can't recommend this rug to anyone. I didn't know they would make something like this.
