Amazing rug - love the color, nice and squishy and still fits perfectly under the door that opens over it!

Not happy with this rug at all. It’s not apparent this $650 rug (Bungalow Rose Nathanson Power Loom Blue Rug Part #: W004673253) contains wool (which in fact it may well be), as the description states is a "wool-polyester blend.” The rug is described as a "beautiful replica of a one-of-a-kind rug.” I did expect it to be somewhat different from a traditional hand-knotted rug. However, I *did not* expect it to be an extremely soft “fleece-like” extremely synthetic feeling material of minuscule height (more akin to a sweet onesie outfit you’d swaddle your baby in). It does not at all approach the look or feel of a “woven” rug that it’s intended to be a replica of. An extremely odd issue — rather an anomaly: the fibers (threads) are all one continuous pale-blue color from the backing out to the fiber tips, which have the appearance of having been airbrushed, or the likes, to create the pattern seen in the product’s photo. The fibers / threads are not actually that color, overall, but appear to be died (sprayed?) in post production for only a minute 3/32” to 1/16” of their tips or so. And to top it off, the pattern appears totally blurred — as in out of focus which is very odd. Overall we’ve been pretty happy with Wayfair, and Bungalow Rose as well — but not this product. We highly recommend you do not purchase this or other similar rugs here. Inquire first. It was a huge disappointment for which Bungalow Rose should address in their description / disclosure of the rug(s).
